The latest version will be published on this website.
These Terms & Conditions apply to appointments and services provided by Jane Practice. By booking an appointment, you agree to these terms.
Appointments
All sessions are by appointment only and must be booked in advance.
Appointment times are reserved specifically for each client. Please arrive on time for your session.
If you arrive late, the session may need to be shortened to avoid affecting the next appointment. The full appointment fee may still apply.
Treatment and service selection
The service selected when booking is not a guarantee that a particular technique or treatment will be provided.
Your therapist will discuss your needs and relevant health information with you before or during the session. The planned treatment may be adjusted where appropriate.
Where a treatment or technique is considered unsuitable, the therapist may recommend an alternative or decide not to proceed.
Health information and contraindications
You are responsible for providing accurate and relevant information about your health, medical conditions, injuries, medications, allergies, pregnancy, recent procedures and any other circumstances that may affect the suitability or safety of treatment.
Please tell your therapist about any relevant changes before each session.
Treatment may be modified, postponed or declined where there is a potential contraindication or where the therapist considers that proceeding would not be appropriate.
Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or medical treatment. If appropriate, you may be advised to seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
Cancellations and rescheduling
Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours before the appointment.
Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a £20 late cancellation fee.
If Jane Practice needs to cancel your appointment, you will not be charged a cancellation fee and any payment made for a service that is not provided will be refunded or, if you prefer, applied to a rescheduled appointment.
Missed appointments
If you do not attend your appointment without cancelling in advance, a late cancellation fee may apply.
Repeated missed appointments or late cancellations may result in Jane Practice declining future bookings.
Payments
Prices are shown when booking and are confirmed before payment.
Where a deposit is required, the remaining balance must be paid in accordance with the payment options shown when booking or in your client account.
Any applicable cancellation charge will be handled in accordance with the cancellation terms above.
Treatment results
Responses to massage and bodywork vary between individuals. No particular outcome or result can be guaranteed.
Recommendations made during a session are based on the information available to the therapist at that time.

Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
