When myofascial massage may be a good fit

The same areas keep feeling tight
Some areas can continue to feel tight or restricted even after stretching, movement or lighter massage.
Tightness feels spread through a wider area
Rather than one specific tight point, tension can sometimes feel as though it continues through a broader area of the body.
Movement feels restricted
Tight or restricted areas can make certain movements feel less comfortable or less free than usual.

Your massage therapist

Hi, I’m Jane, a massage therapist with over 15 years of experience.

Myofascial work goes beyond one tight point

Pressure, stretch and movement can continue through a wider area as the tissue responds.

The principle behind myofascial release

Fascia connects tissues throughout the body
Fascia is connective tissue that surrounds and connects muscles and other structures throughout the body.
The work can continue through a wider area
Rather than repeatedly working on one tight point, pressure, stretch and movement can continue through a wider area as the tissue responds.
Our Signature Technique

How we approach myofascial massage

Vacuum cups add lift and movement
Vacuum cups lift the tissue rather than pressing into it. When moved across the skin, they create a continuous pull through a broader area.

Vacuum cups can leave temporary marks, which usually fade within 5–10 days.
